Today we here from March Medical Team Leader Julie DuBois:
“Day 3 of March Clinic was very busy. We started with a little one with new-onset seizures right here in the clinic before we officially opened for the day.
That pace continued until we finished for the day. The team took a much welcome break to the beach followed by a nice prepared meal. Some of the new volunteers are struggling with the magnitude of the poverty and starvation of the children and adults here in Haiti. But recognizing how much the volunteers of FOTCOH along with the Haitian staff make a difference here tempers some of the sadness.
This is an amazing team all working together, and having fun along the way.
We are all so glad to be here!”
