We first saw these twins in May and the male twin was malnourished and in need of starting on our Medika Mamba program. At their initial visit at FOTCOH we did education on how many packets of the plumpy nut peanut butter supplement was needed each day along with clean water. The baby was seen again at our July clinic and is growing adequately according to the expected weight gain established by the Medika Mamba program. The baby will continue to be seen at FOTCOH for his well child checks and assessment and between our clinics he will follow up with our Haitian doctor for measurements and distribution of more Medika Mamba packets. That is one of the many great things about FOTCOH…the continuity we provide to our patients and contributing to the growth of little babies to ones that will thrive…
