Volunteer

“The people I have met through FOTCOH  continue to inspire, inform, enrich my life immensely, especially the Haitians whom I now consider extended family members. Thank you, FOTCOH!”

-Linda Damery, Volunteer

Volunteering with FOTCOH

FOTCOH relies on the generosity and support of volunteers just like you. Our devoted volunteer helpers come from around the country, from both medical and non-medical backgrounds. In a typical year, volunteers provide nearly 5,000 hours of support toward furthering FOTCOH’s mission! Together, we help meet the health and medical needs of the Haitian community.

No matter your skills or experience, there is a role for you on FOTCOH’s volunteer team. All you need is compassion, a heart to help other people, a “team player” attitude, and openness to new experiences. As a volunteer, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced FOTCOH team members, helping provide care at our clinic in Haiti for people who would otherwise go without medical attention. You’re likely to return home with a sense of experience, satisfaction, and meaningful impact.

Most of our volunteers describe the experience as “life-changing.”
